Yes, flowers sing. They sing to me about their birth, about their life, about their love. And every moment of their life is beautiful. I am trying to catch the intangible link between my flowers and myself. I am trying to hear words that have never been said, see the intangible beauty. In order to create something I have to feel it with my heart, with my soul and only then can I touch the heart and soul of another being. My desire is to reach the innermost essence of things, to know their soul, to know the truth. By creating flower arrangements I help others to see the invisible, to hear the silent, to say the unspoken. I help them to touch the truth.
Every flower is its own unique world, its own voice, its own mystery. A flower composition is music. All these perceptions, all the beauty are a gift from the universe. It bestows upon us the ability to enjoy its miracles. It teaches us to listen and understand the language of nature. Listen to what your heart is telling you, it will tell you everything you need to know because through your heart the Universe is talking to you.
I have learned much by working with flowers. Most importantly, I learned how to look and listen, how to give, how to feel and how to be one with nature. I learned to be a part of it. I learned how to value every moment of my existence. I learned to understand myself, my inner essence, my purpose in this life. I learned to see the beauty and charm of every little branch, the curve of every stem, the unique color of every petal. I see a completely different world: the world of the flower music. I worship the sanctity, I worship the miracle. There are no ugly flowers or plants, they are all pure perfection. One only has to know how to see, hear, perceive and love.
I compose not only with live flowers, I work with any natural material: lather, metals, rocks. I create art with “dead” matter although any matter is alive to me. I bring it to life, I give it my love, my soul, my fantasy – and everything comes to life. In creating my compositions, I seek to not interrupt the harmony that has always existed from the moment of creation of these flowers or materials. I seek to enhance that harmony, make it reach further through the unity of all the live components into one whole which is music. If I can perceive the music that emanates from my composition or arrangement, then I succeeded. Then I am moving in the right direction.
I create my compositions based on intuition. I have never seen almost 80% of my clients. More often than not I have no idea about the personalities involved, I do not know their colors preference, their style. So I search. I seek the connection. I walk among the flowers, touch them trying to catch the connection thread. No, this is not it. I take a flower into my hands and put it back. And suddenly I perceive something, a sound perhaps. I a few seconds I chose the correct flowers and get to work, or rather, get to play. I play and when I play I don’t hear anybody, I only hear the melody of the flowers. I am in a different world. It happened many times that the clients would call me later and ask me how I managed to perfectly match their taste in color and style, hit their inner spot so perfectly. I tell them that flowers taught me how to feel. The flowers told me, they knew, they led me. They also wanted to be cared for and admired. I love them. Trust me, when you love flowers, they feel it, they wilkl make you happy for a long time, they emanate their love, creating harmony all around. Everything needs our love.
When you are ordering flowers for someone special, do not forget to communicate their favorite flowers, colors, style. Think about their personality, hobby. Such details are crucial for any designer. With this knowledge I can create a dream. People say: “That is what I was dreaming of!” Learn to create another person’s dream, bring it to life. Then somebody else will help give life to your own dreams. Who gives, shall receive. Learn to feel the color of every day in your own life. Every day is as unique as shades and colors. Here is how you can do it.
When you wake up in the morning, take a few moments to lay there with your eyes closed and thank the world for being alive today. Then open your eyes, look around and notice which color attracted your eyes for the longest time. That will be your color for the day. Try to have at least one article of your closing of that color. Observe what happens with you that day. You will notice that your day was noticeably more active and more interesting because you chose the color of the day from your heart. It knows what you need. Look and you will see, listen and you will hear. I wish you to learn how to hear the music of flowers, the music of your soul. May every day of your life be filled with this music. May your every day of our lives be as unique as every one of us.
